So Let Us Praise him Today

Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning, God created the heaven and the Earth ”

Since you rose from your bed this morning, have you paused to consider our creator?

Did you admire the sunrise feeling gratitude for one more day?

Did you just squint at it in annoyance as the glare made it difficult to see through the dirty windshield?

Our Universe, the Earth, the Sun, the Moon, and the Stars were not produced by accident or chance.

It was all intentionally created by One, whose thoughts and designs are far loftier than our own.

How do we know?

By Faith.

 "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God

Hebrews 11:3

The same is true for you.

You being here on earth is not an accident or a mere chance.

You were fearfully and wonderfully made by God.

He knows your struggles and your needs, and best of all, he cares for you.

If you have Faith today, rejoice because it is a gift given by the Almighty God of the Universe, who also allows you to call him your Heavenly Father because of the completed work of his Son, and our Lord, Jesus Christ, who has redeemed us from all our sins.

While we cannot see God with our natural eyes, we can see his creation and it is marvelous.

Observing creation should remind us to rejoice in our creator and worship him each day.

All of creation is directed to praise the Lord.

So Let Us Praise him Today.

Psalm 148

 Praise ye the LORD.

 Praise ye the LORD from the heavens:

 praise him in the heights.

 Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.

 Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.

 Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.

 Let them praise the name of the LORD:

 for he commanded, and they were created.

 He hath also stablished them for ever and ever:

 he hath made a decree which shall not pass.

 Praise the LORD from the earth,

 ye dragons, and all deeps:

 Fire, and hail; snow, and vapour; stormy wind fulfilling his word:

 Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:

 Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl:

 Kings of the earth, and all people;

 princes, and all judges of the earth:

 Both young men, and maidens;

 old men, and children:

 Let them praise the name of the LORD:

 for his name alone is excellent;

 his glory is above the earth and heaven.

 He also exalteth the horn of his people,

 the praise of all his saints;

 even of the children of Israel,

 a people near unto him.

 Praise ye the LORD.

 A Prayer

Our Heavenly Father, we ask that you direct our hearts as we strive to praise you today.

You are indeed worthy of our praise, love, and adoration.

Thank you for one more day and may we use it in your service.

We ask this in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ, the Word.
