Meet the Pastor

Pastor Jonathan and his Family

Pastor: Elder Jonathan Moseley

Elder Jonathan Moseley has served as Fair Haven's Pastor since July of 2019.

Brother Jonathan is married to his high school sweetheart, Meagan and together they have four boys and a little girl.

My Prayer is that there will be Hunger for the Truth and that the Lord will open up doors of opportunity for me to preach and teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our Tift Area Community and that I'll have the discernment to recognize those open doors and have the courage to open my mouth and speak as boldly as I ought to so our Lord may be Glorified in All Things.

Around Town:

Brother Jonathan leads multiple weekly bible studies on Tuesday Mornings at 6:30 AM at Espresso 41, Tuesday Mornings at 10:00 AM at the Church, and a remote Bible Study Wednesdays at Noon via a Video Conference Call (Email for login information).

You'll also likely find him at the YMCA's fields on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings coaching several soccer teams.

Brother Jonathan's Testimony:

"Though I regularly attended services at Shoal Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Newborn, GA since my baptism in 2000, I allowed the cares of this world and the pursuit of earthly riches to become my primary motivation in life. In 2017, while practicing law as a corporate attorney for a trucking company in McDonough, GA, the Lord began to work on me through a series of tests and trials. After being convicted that I had not been standing fast for God's Word, I began a deliberate effort to reexamine every aspect of my life in the light of God's Word and then made changes accordingly. Shortly thereafter, the Lord began to burden me with a desire to share with others what I was reading and learning.

After exercising for two years, Fair Haven Primitive Baptist Church called me to be their Pastor and for my ordination. I was ordained to the full work of the Ministry on September 7, 2019 by Shoal Creek Primitive Baptist Church.  After commuting to Tifton for a year from McDonough while continuing to work as a bi-vocational pastor, the Lord opened the door in March of 2020 for us to relocate to Tifton.  The Lord later saw fit to retire me from being an attorney and so since October of 2020, I have served Fair Haven as a Full Time Pastor.
